Wired for sound – the Guild gets Podcasting

Within the Guild we blog, we Tweet, Instagram, post on LinkedIn and upload videos. What we haven’t yet done is Podcast.

We are pleased to report that this has been put right. We now have our own official channel, brought to us via Soundcloud. Our aim is to periodically produce our own podcasts, covering a broad range of topics.

To kick things off, the Guild recently supported our Master and his Raleigh 400 campaign at its launch event. This saw 120 sixth form students and many of the City’s most senior Livery folk come together at Drapers’ Hall to learn of Sir Walter Raleigh and his entrepreneurial exploits. This included a keynote presentation from Professor Jerry Brotton on Raleigh’s life and a fascinating panel session, who’s panel included the Master and Middle Warden. Both were recorded and are the launch Podcasts on our channel.

Take a listen as they are both really interesting to any of us entrepreneurs. The channel can be found here

We hope you like them. If you have a topic that you think would make for a good addition then do please get in touch with our Communications Committee Chairman Mark Huxley. He’d love to hear from you.
