31 – Mar : United Guilds Service and Lunch
United Guilds Service
This service of thanksgiving is held in St Paul’s Cathedral annually two Fridays before Good Friday. Admission to the Cathedral is by ticket only and the Clerk will receive the Guild’s allocation of tickets early in the year. These will be allocated according to seniority, with the Officers and Court having first refusal, ahead of Founding Freemen, Founder Freemen, and Freemen. Only Freemen may sit in the Entrepreneurs’ designated row, but guests and Freemen-elect are permitted tickets for unreserved seating elsewhere in the Cathedral.
Tickets are free, but please be aware that a collection is taken during the service (GiftAid envelopes will be sent out with tickets). Ticket holders must take their seats by 10.45am.
This event is now fully-booked, and the Clerk’s Office has opened a waiting list for tickets to the Service. Please contact the Clerk for more details.
Lunch at Carpenters’ Hall
By the kind permission of the Master, Wardens and Court of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters, the Guild of Entrepreneurs is invited to lunch at Carpenters’ Hall following the United Guilds Service. Lunch is available to all Freemen and guests (the cost is £57pp), and must be pre-booked via the Entrepreneurs’ Clerk’s Office. Priority will be given to those who attended the Service beforehand, but it is not necessary to attend the United Guilds Service in order to book for lunch.
Places for lunch are still available, please contact the Clerk for more information.
Deadline for bookings is midday, Thursday March 23rd.
