Lee John Robertson, BA, Chartered FCSI, Chartered Wealth Manager, FRSA
Lee Robertson was admitted as a Founding Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs and elected to Court in 2014. He was invested as Junior Warden in November 2015, and as Middle Warden in November 2016. At the Election Court in 2017 he was elected to serve as the Guild’s fourth Master and was installed at Painters’ Hall on 23rd November 2017.
Lee’s mother Livery Company is the Worshipful Company of Marketors where he has previously served on Court as well as having previously been co-opted to Court to assist with the investment strategy of the Worshipful Company of Marketors Trust.
Lee is a well-known City entrepreneur and is the founder and CEO of highly respected City based boutique wealth manager Investment Quorum located just by the Guildhall in Gresham Street. He is also a founding partner in the investor research consultancy, Gliocas Consulting LLP.
As well as being a practicing Chartered Wealth Manager Lee is also regularly sought for informed comment on investment and wealth management matters by the national and broadcast press and his broadcast credits include Sky Business, Reuters, CNBC and the BBC.
His uncompromising standards in wealth management have also led to him being appointed as a judge on several financial sector awards which cover financial planning, investment management, wealth management and client care and marketing.
Lee was named Wealth Manager of the Year for High Net Worth Investors in 2015 at the definitive Spear’s Wealth Management Awards as well as regular accolades including being named Wealth Management Sector Gamechanger of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
Lee served in the Royal Navy in the Communications and Intelligence Branch and is and has been involved in and contributed to a number of charities including the Royal Marines 350th anniversary and Combat Stress amongst others. He is currently becoming involved in PEAS, a charity aimed at bringing an entrepreneurial approach to equal gender educational opportunities in education in Africa.
He divides his time between The Borough in SE1 during the week and his house in Hove, Sussex at weekends. His many hobbies and interests include writing, cooking, photography, clay-pigeon shooting and travel.
His wife, Alison, is an extremely accomplished senior nurse, currently working at a senior level in Qatar, and has been the Chief Nurse of four different NHS Acute Hospital Trusts including St George’s, a major London Teaching Hospital.
