Educational talk to Young Chinese Professionals

 

On the 25th of November Freeman Carrie Waley   gave a  talk  to a group of young Chinese professionals in London on the subject of entrepreneurship. Carrie is CEO of Mandarin Consulting and has been a Freeman of the Guild since its inception. As a member of the Guilds Education committee  Carrie is keen to promote  entrepreneurship and pass on some of her vast knowledge to young keen minds.

Manderin Consultings Alumni gathered for a festive celebration at a traditional Chinese restaurant in London. The MC Alumni is a network of Mandarin Consulting’s candidates who have successfully found a job or completed an internship or graduate work placement having benefited from one of the cross-cultural coaching programmes offered .

 

Founding Freeman Carrie gave an inspiring speech about her entrepreneurial experiences, highlighting the qualities needed to be an entrepreneur, her passion for business, the challenges faced, and on being a woman entrepreneur.The MC Alumni were then able to network with young professionals working in a wide range of industries, including those of assurance, insurance, engineering, energy and science from global companies such as PwC, KPMG, Accenture, BP and AECOM.
