Calling all Freemen – Can you offer work experience?

As you know the Guild is committed to working closely with our partner schools, introducing entrepreneurship and business skills to pupils at grass roots level. To this end we have been asked if any of our Freemen would be able to offer work experience to students this summer.

Work experience is  invaluable for students not only helping them gain real knowledge about what it is like to work in business but also as a positive attribute to add to  their CV’s . It helps them develop transferable skills such as communication and teamwork, gives them an understanding of  how organisations work and builds confidence when interacting with adults.

Placements will be probably be required in June or July 2020, should be for at least 5 working days and suitable for students aged 15 or 16 (Year 10). If you think you can help with this worthwhile scheme please contact Sarah Davis, Chair of the Education committee , [email protected] by 28th February 2020
