15 Oct : Ask an Entrepreneur Series: What gets measured, gets done

Continuing the success of bringing in real entrepreneurs who have started and run their own businesses, Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School and The Guild of Entrepreneurs are proud to bring a workshop session with a difference. Join us for over an hour packed full of spontaneous advice, tips and tricks. In this session we’ll be covering the importance of defining the KPIs of a venture and how to convert these into a ‘dashboard’ that continuously monitors performance [against those KPIs].

Our speaker, Nate Burke, is a seasoned entrepreneur who launched his first internet business in 1997 in the US. After exiting this, he founded Diginius in London in 2011. Diginius is a highly regarded specialist online analytics and advertising platform with offices in the Nordics and Africa and expanding in to China. It has won various awards including Best Sales & Marketing Software Solutions Provider and is partnered with Google and Bing amongst others. They also support CentrePoint, the homeless charity. Also, he is a two-time nominee for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

In addition to his experience of building companies he also brings a wealth of knowledge about analytics on the internet and how to use them to increase sales.

As is usual, Nate will be exploring the issues with two early-stage founders from LBS. This will all be ably hosted by Jeff Skinner and our MC, Guild Freeman Barnaby Wynter making sure everyone is involved from the outset. There will be a networking session afterwards with other entrepreneurs from the Guild and LBS over drinks.
