24-May: Data security, GDPR; cut through the jargon!

On the eve of the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in our first Founding Sponsor event, we find out from experts how GDPR affects businesses fromfive different & immediately relevant, perspectives.

It’s your chance to find out from the experts what you need to put in place to comply with the new rules, and just as importantly, what you don’t need to worry about.

Oh, and we’ll throw in some eye-opening insight on data security too!

This is not a session on IT or tech, and there will be no jargon; just plain language about ‘real world’ impact.

Our keynote speaker is Regina Lally from Guild Founding Sponsors PDA Legal, a specialist firm run by Guild of Entrepreneurs Founding Freeman and Court Assistant, Neil Partridge. Regina will summarise in 45 minutes just how much of an impact GDPR will have on the (above) average entrepreneur.

We’ll then break for some liquid refreshment and then continue with a lively panel discussion from experts representing Law (Trowers), Marketing (Freeman Rosemary Smith), Banking and Insurance. So, you could say we have all the bases covered.

Then you can quiz the panel on a one to one basis as we enjoy the hospitality of Trowers AndHamlins Solicitors over wine & canapes.
