17th November 2014: Discover and discuss the Art and Misterie of entrepreneurship

On 17th November 2014, at 6.00pm until 8.30pm, at London Capital Club, 15 Abchurch Lane EC4N 7BW.

Join fellow Entrepreneurs at this first City seminar organised during Global Entrepreneurship Week by the recently established City of London Guild of Entrepreneurs. Prepare for a stimulating presentation from Andrew Green, partner at Gallup, the international research and performance management consultancy, who will explore the mind of the Entrepreneur and discuss his company’s compelling research. We shall consider the economic, social and political conditions that make Entrepreneurship flourish.

With our economic fortunes being so dependent on the wealth and employment created by Entrepreneurs in all areas of business, there is no better time than Global Entrepreneurship Week to gain valuable insight into what motivates these brave risk-takers to invest their own time and money in a new venture. Our panel will also include Andre Spicer, Professor of Organisational Behaviour and the founding director of ETHOS: The Centre for Responsible Enterprise at Cass Business School along with Michael Harrison, Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, Rob Wirszycz, Chair, Entrepreneurs Panel, Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and David Peregrine-Jones, First Warden of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants. We shall also be joined by Paul Sizeland, Director of Economic Development, City of London Corporation.

Following the presentations and panel discussion we shall have an excellent opportunity for more discussion and networking over wine and canapés in the beautiful Oriental Room at the London Capital Club. The club, in its previous incarnation as the Gresham Club, traces its origins to 1843. The Grade II Listed building in Abchurch Lane was constructed in 1951 and is one of the City’s hidden gems. Do join us and bring your business guests along with colleagues and friends and those who want to find out more about the Guild of Entrepreneurs.

This event is bound to be very popular, especially as it is the first for our new Guild, so please book now to secure your places.
