15th April 2015 – Fourteen entrepreneurs swell the number of Founder Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs to nearly 60
15th April 2015 – The Guild of Entrepreneurs today welcomed fourteen new Founder Freemen, taking the number of Founder members of The Guild to 57.
The fourteen Freemen were admitted as Founder Freeman by Foundation Master, Alderman Sir Paul Judge at a special Admissions Ceremony held in The Courtroom of The Cutlers Hall and followed by a hearty and light-hearted supper under the Victorian Hammer Beam roof of The Cutlers Livery Hall.
The new Founder Freemen are: Sir Rod Aldridge OBE; Andrew Brierley; Simone Davies; David Fergusson; Mark Grove; Judy Hadden; Bernard Harvey; Simon Hill; Tim McManan-Smith; Piers Nicholson; Dana Novaković; Caroline Redman Lusher; Adèle Thorpe; Pippa Watmough
Alderman, Sir Paul Judge said: “The Cutlers Hall was an ideal setting for the admission of our latest Freemen, who are among the last to receive the title Founder Freemen. I am proud to have welcomed them into The Guild and look forward to getting to know them better”.
The Court also welcomed its new Learned Clerk Duncan Simms and two new court members, Kate Jolly and Lars Anderson who will bring their business expertise and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship to the existing talented team.
