8 Sept : Election Court and Dinner at Tallow Chandlers
Enquiries are now being taken for seats at the Election Court Banquet at Tallow Chandlers’ Hall on Wednesday 8th September .There will be a Freedom Ceremony at 6.15pm (to which all are welcome), followed by an extended champagne and canapes reception in the Courtyard from 6.45pm.
Presentations will be made to the Trust beneficiaries and prizewinners at 7.30pm, and dinner will be served in the Livery Hall at 8pm. Alderman Sir Charles Bowman will speak.
The Election Court Banquet is expected to sell out, so please add your name to the list for tickets ASAP at:
Dress code: Evening dress (white tie)
• For women: full length dress, with shoulders covered (by a jacket or shawl, if not by the dress).
• For men; black shoes, cloth evening dress tailcoat and trousers with white shirt, white wing collar, white bow tie and white waistcoat.
• This dress code applies to all Freemen and guests. Acceptable variations for military uniform or national dress should be confirmed with the Clerk.
