Continuing the Guild’s thriving relationship with Bathtub2Boardroom, the Outreach & Education Committee is looking for two more Freemen to volunteer their time and expertise to lecture/mentor young entrepreneurs. These opportunities consist of a talk/lecture on one evening, with a follow-up mentoring session on a second date (for which the timings are more flexible).
The chosen Freemen need to be available from 6pm on the first date to give the talk, the second date in brackets is the follow-up mentoring. The location is in the City of London (EC2R 8AE)
- A Start Up guide to Accounting & Tax – 26th July (2nd August)
- Growing your Business (HR & Recruitment) – 9th August (16th August)
The format will follow that of last year, with a short talk followed by a Q&A session on the first date, then 20-minute individual mentoring sessions the subsequent week. These usually last for a maximum of 2 hours.
The Outreach & Education Committee will provide guidance on what should be included in the talks, but it should be pointed out that the Tubbers are often quite early on in their business journeys and, as such, these talks are friendly and informal. This is a low-pressure, high-impact project.
