Freemen and guests are warmly invited to book for the delightful silliness of the 2017 Appreciation Supper, which will be held at the London Capital Club on Thursday 19th April.
New Freemen will be admitted at 7pm, following the April Court, and drinks will then be served in the Board Room. Supper then follows in the Oriental Room.
For those Freemen not already familiar with the concept, the Appreciation Supper is a three-course dinner, during which the diners get to rehearse the full gamut of City dining customs.
Processing, singing, the Loving Cup and the Rose Bowl are all on the cards and will be rehearsed (and, indeed, repeated until perfect), and a number of guests from other City institutions have been invited to attend.
The Appreciation Supper is an essential primer for Freemen ahead of the Summer Banquet in June.
