The Guild of Entrepreneur’s Chaplain invites you to join this year’s Carol Service at the jewel in the City’s religious crown – All Hallows by the Tower. Founded by the Abbey of Barking in 675AD, 300 years before the Tower of London, it has witnessed nearly 1500 years of society since Saxon times.
The service features traditional carols and readings, as well as seasonal choral and organ works. The Master will read a lesson.
The Guild will attend carols by candlelight at All Hallows’ by the Tower at 6.30pm on December 15th. All Freemen, Freemen-elect and guests (of any faith or no faith) are warmly invited to attend.
The Guild has a number of rows reserved. Please contact the Clerk’s Office to reserve your seat. The Service is free to attend, but a collection will be taken for the work of the Parish. If you are unable to reserve a seat in the Guild’s rows, unreserved seating is available elsewhere in the Church but. as this is a very popular event, early arrival for unreserved seating is essential.
The Carol Service will be followed by a cheerful, festive reception featuring a buffet and refreshments at the nearby Vicarage on Trinity Square.
